École Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort

The National Veterinary School of Alfort (EnvA) is a French institution of higher education and research. It is a reference in animal care. Its pillars: training future veterinarians, advancing scientific knowledge of animal diseases and caring for animals in four veterinary university hospital centers (companion animals, equines, farm animals and wildlife). Its research focuses on animal diseases, infectious and zoonotic risks, and the pathophysiology and treatment of muscular, locomotor and reproductive disorders. The EnvA is the oldest veterinary school still on its original site, in Alfort since 1766.
