Bruno Polack graduated from the Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort (EnvA), France in 1980.
He worked as researcher on goat diseases for 6 years then came back to EnvA in 1989 as associate professor in veterinary parasitology and mycology. His research is focused on zoonotic foodborne protists, (Giardia and cryptosporidium) mainly on detection and alternative therapies.
Since 2017, he is at the Head of the “Zoonotic foodborne parasites” team within the Joint Research Unit for Molecular Biology and Parasitic Immunology (INRAE, Anses, EnvA).
